Welcome to EquiGear

Founded in January 2026, EquiGear is an ambitious and growing equestrian supply company built around a simple goal: to provide high-quality equestrian products to the people and businesses who need them.

EquiGear was founded by Ryan Horgan, who serves as the company's Founder and Managing Director. Having recognised an opportunity within the equestrian industry, Ryan set out to build a company that could provide reliable products and professional service to customers across the equestrian community.

Today, Ryan works alongside his dedicated team to develop and grow EquiGear every day. From its headquarters in Bridestown, Co. Cork, the company continues to expand its customer base and reach customers not only throughout Ireland, but increasingly across the world.

What We Do

EquiGear specialises in supplying equestrian students, farms, equestrian centres and equestrian shops with a wide range of equestrian products. We supply both our own products and products from other trusted brands, giving customers access to a broad selection through one dedicated supplier.

Whether you are running a busy equestrian centre, managing a farm, operating an equestrian shop or studying and working within the equestrian industry, our aim is to make sourcing the products you need as straightforward and reliable as possible.

From the Showjumping Circuit to EquiGear

Ryan's connection with the equestrian industry goes beyond running EquiGear. He is also actively involved in the equestrian showjumping circuit, giving him first-hand experience of the products, equipment and requirements of riders, horses and equestrian professionals.

Ryan personally uses many of the types of products that EquiGear supplies, giving him a genuine understanding of their practicality, quality and suitability from a customer's perspective. His involvement in showjumping means he understands the demands of the sport and the importance of having reliable products and equipment when it matters most.

This hands-on experience is an important part of EquiGear's identity. Rather than simply supplying products, Ryan and the team understand the equestrian world from personal experience and are passionate about providing products that meet the needs of the people who use them.
